A/C with 6 pack setup?

On a 340, can you run the stock a/c compressor if you change from a 4bbl to a 6 pack setup?

I remember reading years ago that on the 383 , 400 , and 440 engines that the stock RV-2 compressor can be used with the Six Pack (et al. ) induction when the '75-'78 pulleys and brackets are used ; this is because the A.I.R. Pump necessitated that the accessories be moved-out further from the engine .

As far as 340 (as well as others in the LA Engine Family ) is concerned , I just don't know ...
Perhaps with some custom bracketery and pulleys , it could be done .
