I'm looking for a new/nos single terminal neutral safety switch for '67 Dart A904.

...Or has anyone ever rewired the harness to use the later style three term switch?
 
You can't just swap the switch. There are other internal differences too.

Do you know that for a fact?

I was told you could use the 3 pin ONLY for NSS, the reverse function will not work. I DON'T know if that's "fer sure"
 
I've used the 3 pin switch (69-74) in an older trans. with no problem. The middle terminal is the one for the neutral safety. There were variations of the shoe on the valve body that presses on the switch as well as the 3 pin switch itself. Just get one for a 69 trans. and I believe it'll work fine.

BTW: I don't know if it'll work for the reverse lights if needed as my car is a 68 and has the reverse light switch on the shifter.

If you do want an original single pin switch I saw one on Moparts a week or 2 ago. The seller goes by joesixpack and sells a lot of NOS stuff.
