Hey guys. Looking at adding ac in my dart before too long. I have a 1975 dart swinger with a 318. It used to have ac but I’ve removed all the ac stuff from under the hood (probably 15 years ago). All of the kits I see online only go up 1972. Is there a reason I couldn’t use a kit designed for a 1972 dart in my 1975 swinger?

So you have no parts from the fire wall to the rad support ?
If so a firewall forward kit from Classic Auto Air would fit the bill.
This will get you modern Sanden compressor and proper attaching hoses.
That would require that the under dash parts are still there.
Not sure if they supply the pulleys and engine brackets complete or not. See what they got.
72 LA engines have the same aluminum water pump as 75.So all should bolt right up.

Ok awesome. I might be good to go then. I kept all of the under dash stuff. Just removed under hood stuff when I swapped it from a slant six to 318.

Good. Several companies make fire wall forward kits. Shop around.
