Anyone have experience or recommendations on replacing/repairing the bushing assembly on the gas pedal for a '64 valiant /6? Someone looks to have tried to repair the bushing right behind the pedal at some point and the pedal requires a lot of pressure and then suddenly leaps forward. If anyone has a used assembly or knows how to find replacement parts I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks!

if thats the one with a steel rod going from the fire wall to carb with a 90 degree bend at the carb. chrysler calls it an insulator. but it does the same thing you are talking about. i did buy one in the mid 70s. due to odd angles a home repair might be hard to do. but does need to NOT hang up. dont know about an after market replacement. ill check out Dorman.
