I have searched but cannot find a difinitive answer. I need to add switched 12V power for my Tach and need to know the best place to connect my voltage meter conversion. My fuse block is in good shape and has an empty hole with no fittings in it. Thinking about adding a small spade type fuse block and jumping from the input radio side of the existing block to the new one and pulling power from there. Thoughts anyone?

Your fuse box has TWO buss's inside, one is hot at all times, the other is switched accessory. You should be able to tap off in there

This is a 67 Barracuda?

Turn the box upside down. Look at the end fuses. At one end will be a fuse with a tan wire and several orange wires. This is the "instrument" fuse.

You want the OPPOSITE end of the box from that fuse

One the opposite end will be two or three fuses tied together by a "buss" this is the end you want, the "switched ACC" end
