I can post a breakdown of the details of how I did it, but I'm on the road right now. I'll try and post it tonight. I know the gauges are 3-3/8" and 2-1/16" or 2-1/8". Standard gauge sizes from Summit/Autometer.

I have the template for the metal panel to cut out and fit inside your stock cluster, if you have the same as I did. I'll ship it to you if you want it. I only ask that you pay it forward to another member or send it back.

Let me know how I can help.

This is a picture of the cluster as it sits in my car, in case anybody wanted to take a gander. Not hard to make, and it definitely blends in fairly well (for what it is).

Let me know about the template if you want it.

Hey nice steering wheel lol

Cluster looks good too. I was tempted to go with white-face gauges. They look sharp.

Yours look sweet too man!

Right?! I wanted a wood rimmed classic type wheel, but hey, these were in stock at Pep Boys

Really, the only reason I went with the Phantoms was because I already had two from a previous project (my '84 Mustang GT). As it turns out, the fuel level gage uses compatible impedance, who'd have thought? And since my Mustang will be retrofitted with an electronic input speedo when my new powertrain goes in, I used that one. I automatically didn't need to buy two gages that would've run another $140...

I built mine like 73Swinger did by fitting a piece of sheet metal to the original cluster housing.

i used colored led bulbs in my auto meter gauges. they are super bright and look pretty cool i think. I paid $13 for 10 bulbs.
