Got my install done today it was quite easy after I got the right parts.
I took the original factory under-dash vent and cut about 2 inches off the back side flipped it upside down and graft it onto the new unit. This allowed it to mount in stock location and put the a/c hose fittings right at the hole where the blower motor used to be. I cut the defrost feed tube and put one of the side outlets off the new unit in it for defrost and ran the other side outlet into the back of the dash vent as there was no way to get a hose over the steering column to feed the drivers side vent.
Still need to figure out how to mount the controls in the dash instead of under, but every thing works and as you can see the underhood is much cleaner. When I put the 360 in I will plug and fill all the factory holes in the firewall. I didn't replace the condenser as it was upgraded to a 134 2 yrs ago but everything else is new.
Total cost
compressor and new hoses and dryer $368
indash unit $299 came with hoses expansion valve and vents
labor about 5hrs total
I'll add more pics as I get them.
