aftermarket shifter with factory automatic console

does anyone have any pics of a factory automatic console being used with an aftermarket shifter ? was thinking of doing something that looked different than the factory shift handle but dont want to get rid of my console. thanks for the help

I bought a crusty OEM shifter and modified it rather than try to make a aftermarket shifter fit and work properly. I can dig up the pics and details if you want.

Old pics and not exactly what my interior looks like today.
Its a BMW shift knob with a button that pulls up on the paw instead of pushing down.
