Aftermarket stereos

Silly question I suppose. I'm working on a stock 71 duster which had a factory radio. Are there adapter connectors to fit a cd(mp3 compatible) player with the stock wiring harness? Same goes for speakers. I'm not looking to put a huge system. Just a decent set of speakers and a head unit. Thanks in advance.

The stock wiring harness for radio is all of 4 wires. Red is switched fused radio power. Orange is radio light connected to dash light circuit and other connecter out of radio is green and black speaker wires. All of this is chassis grounded to the dash. Anything aftermarket would use that red wire. From there depends on what you buy. Good luck
