I put a Edelbrock RPM high rise intake on my 340 1970 Dart with an edelbrock 750 carb but now I don't have enough clearance to close the hood. I tryed a deeper air cleaner but it hits the electric choke. Any ideas?

Spectre has a carb bonnet that you can connect to a hose and move your air cleaner to a remote location. They have a lot of options on thier website.

what rpm intake? the regular rpm or th air gap.. because my rpm and stock air cleaner just fits under the stock hood..

Hmmmm??? Strange. I got a stock intake but with a 1/2 inch spacer and the carb stud sticking up another 1/2 or so. Looked to me like an Airgap and a 1/2 spacer would work with a stock aircleaner. Is it the hood will not close or the carb choke hits the air box?

Got a air gap on the Duster. 750 Holley. With a normal drop base and a 3 in.
filter it will clear. Now with a 4 in. filter it go's through the roof, or should I
say the hood. LOL.
I have this set up on now. The top of the filter sits at the hood line. Works
great with the dual snorkle scoop. Yes I did cut out the hood.
