Air filter assembly choices

Well...the 340 is in and it is loud. And it didn't leak or blow up!
But..my hood won't close with the stock, unsilenced air cleaner assembly. What did you guys use?

One of those new fangled edelbrock rpm intakes. Maybe i can just find a 1 inch air filter element. That might lower the 'dome' a bit. I thought i saw a low profile air cleaner assembly on here before.
