I have a 390 in a Dart that I will use just for race and my friends says that to use aluminum flywheel. Any one using it? What is the best for race aluminum or steel billet flywheel?

Thanks a lot,

Minella

Actually it's a Clark 4 speed, made in Brazil

if your hotrod isn't really a lite weight with the aluminum flywheel it'll bog unless you have the rpm's to the moon when you side step the clutch. your hotrod will like the steel one much better.

If it's a race car,I'd run aluminum too. It's easier to accelerate, and it's easier on the launch. The all aluminum are SFI approved too.
