Another seizure auction - 69 Dart GT

How does this one look? I like it better than the 6789. Stolen from the same guy. Strange cause the cars have tags from my county and being auctioned from the next county over up in TN. What do you guys think this car is worth?

Nice car! At least it is the right year! If you could get that for under $8000.00 it looks like it would be worth it to me but I do not know what that car would go for in your area. Good luck with this sale.

The guys on the local forum that found these cars say the website has guys that bid up the prices. Looking at the bids that sounds about right. I'll pass for now but the 69 looks pretty sweet. Why doesn't it have the same hood as the 68 (6789 see the 68 auction thread) that is also being auctioned?

I sure wouldn't pay >$8K. They know nothing of the car, so shouldn't get close to top dollar. Maybe the floor boards and trunk are rusted out. They say it could be a 383 engine. Gee, then how did the distributor wind up on the rear of the engine?

Almost a dead-ringer to my old 69 Swinger 340 car.
I wonder why it was seized in the first place. Anyone know?
My price guess would be closer to $12K.
