1969 Dart 5.9 magnum, 1634 Oregon cam/Hughes 1199 spring kit, Ede air gap intake, Holley 750dp, stock hood, mechanical clutch fan, 727 (3000 stall), 8 3/4 3.23 sure grip, 26x9.50-15 Hoosier quick time pros.
Ran 8.66 in the 1/8 with the stock cam, electric fan, hemi scoop, 1" carb spacer (in the other car). Heading to the track Saturday.

Is that the ET slip before the cam swap but all else the same ???? Cam will help. I think the car should be around 8.00 with that cam.

Yep, the ET slip was before the cam swap. Different cars but same drivetrain (except for the scoop, fans, and spacer)

The fuel would boil out of the carb in the staging lane. Only got 2 runs, mystery coolant leak on top of the timing cover.

3 mph gain is good. I would think more et gain. May need some tuning. Traction better,worse,or the same?

Traction felt great! My only concern is when I came up to the line the fuel was boiled out of the carb.
