I'm starting the install on my front disc brake conversion tonight.
Is it a good idea to use anti-seize on any of the bolts? I'm no mechanic by any means but
having fun working on my Demon.

Thanks for any help.

Perhaps, using loctite orange on your nuts and bolts would be better on brake hardware.

Use the purple Permatex ceramic brake grease. That's what it's made for.

I would not unless it is going to be subjected to a highly corrosive environment and you plan to work on it a lot.

I little bit of loc-tite blue and toque to spec.

This is what I am talking about. It's a little pricey, but it goes a long way does not wash off and is good from -50F to 3000F. It's good stuff.

Permatex® Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant

As for caliper bolts, I agree on the blue locktite, but on brake parts that need to slide such as where the caliper meets the spindle, that brake grease above cannot be beat.

I used Anti seize on the caliper slides back when I had my tool truck. It worked good but didn't put it on anything else brake related.
