Put the factory decal on and who would know. And they do work with aftermarket ignitions. I have been using the Tach in cars. Put any year face on and put the needle on to Zero when powered up.

The aftermarket one goes up to 8k whereas the stock one goes only up to 6k. Is there any spacing difference in terms of the intervals if I put the new decal on it?

About 200 rpms per 1000 that I see on the tach.

The factory tachs were not that accurate so if your using it for shift points your better off with a autometer with recall anyway. As stated the aftermarket tach works with all ignition systems and they fit the dash. Where The factory tachs fail quite often.
