Anybody notice this when driving your Mopar?

-
....Does anyone get notes on there cars from people wanting to buy them?? Those are the best, I know my car isn't worth all that much but it sure is nice to have people offer you large chunks of cash...

Not too long ago I picked up a driver /6 '70 Swinger to use as a parts car for my 340 Dart restoration project. After the purchase, I drove the car straight to the nearest gas station to fuel up for the short drive home. There was no 'for sale' sign in the car's window, yet someone followed me into that gas station and asked me if I wanted to sell the car; I had only owned it for like literally 3 minutes!

Mopars are rare, and MEAN....
Lots of people drive by my Barracuda, and I can see them 'mouthing" the word B A R R A C D A once they get up to where the nameplate is on the front fender.....

One thing I notice too is that non-Mopar people are always comparing their cars to Mopars. I NEVER compare my car to a Ford or Chevy.

i sometimes feel like a celebrity driving my car so many people different ages love old cars, i was driving the other day and someone in opposite lane was staring at my car and rear ended the guy in front of him i have a nice cam and fenderwall headers, purple hornies for mufflers its loud and deep people love the rumble when at the lights. hey nice car 69signetv8

Hey, I'm the first to admit that I love the attention, especially when I pull up beside a ricer or mustang and the passenger rolls down his window to listen to the lumpy BB and give me the thumbs up. I get a lot of young guys that after I tell them it's a 383 they ask "you mean a stroker". I don't get all pissy with them and explain that the 383 was around long before chevy ever thought of stroking a 350 and when I tell them it's also a BB they look at me like I'm on drugs.
