Anybody running a Comp XE274H???

Anyone??? Wanna put it in a stock 71 340. Gonna keep the TQ, and slap on a Performer intake. Cam card says it will run 1800-6k, duration of 110* and lifts of 488 and 491. Doesnt say anything about needing headers, says 2200 stall converter. Moot point with my gears and 4 gear, it will cruise right around there on thehighway! Anybody have this stick in their engine???

Had one in a 360. Decent street cam but IMO didn't really come on good until 2600-2700 so the 2200 stall rating is kinda low. If I read you right your car will be spinning right around 2200 on the hwy? If so that's kinda low. Must be pretty tall gears I assume. It may not be the quickest taking off, but since you have a 4 spd. you can overcome some of the gearing issue.
