Yes, they are the same, the same in ALL respects.
Including a high mortality rate due to cracking.
They crack between the valves, usually bad enough that they won't hold a steel seat ring.
Had a friend of mine recently go through NINE sets of heads to find ONE head worthy of rebuilding for a customer.
Mopar knew they were a faulty casting, but it was cheaper to warranty than re-tool, especially since a majority did make it beyond warranty mileage.
Worse, I believe some of them actually were installed on crate engines.
