I have an option to auto-watch threads I start or post in. I don't seem to have an option to auto-watch only threads I start. Is that the way it is, or am I overlooking something?

Unfortunately I think that's the only option.
You can uncheck that option and manually click watch thread on what he wants to watch.
Ill look and see if I can find a way to do something though.

I just click unwatch at the top right of post #1 if I dont want notifications after posting.
