I just picked up an AX15 and a v6 bellhousing for cheap. I am going to put it in my Duster. Car currently has an LA 318 in it. Anyone who has done this could you let me know what flywheel, clutch and starter I need?

Use the V6 flywheel and starter. The V6 and 318 are both internally balanced, so no issues there. Make sure the 318 crank is drilled for a pilot bushing, otherwise use the V6/318 roller bearing that presses into the convertor recess.
I think the shifter comes up real close to the dashboard, and you still have to cut and rebuild the torsion bar crossmember for clearance. Not to mention the (truck) gear ratios are less than ideal.

and you will get this:
Search results for query: ax15

Enough info and reading to keep you busy for a couple of nights.

Professor, thanks for the reply. I have searched and have been reading most of the threads. I am aware of the shifter issue, the transmission cross member and the ratios. What I had never seen in the threads was what flywheel and clutch worked. Thank you for the info.

@75slant6 swapped an AX-15 into his Duster, he should know what you need. It's probably also outlined in his build thread in the Member's Restoration sub-forum.

Guess I am heading in a different direction. 5.9 Magnum and an AR5.

If the AX15 is from a Dakota, the shifter will come up close to the torsion bar crossmember area in the transmission tunnel; not real close to the dashboard.
