Really having a tough time removing left side axel. Doesn't want to budge. Right side pulled out just fine. Any tricks to getting it out?

What size rear? 8.75? Try flipping a drum around, sliding it back on the studs, thread on a few lugnuts, and use the drum as a slide hammer. This method has never failed me.

If you have a large chain, use a lugnut to fasten to hub. Extend the chain 15 to 20 feet, let it droop then pull back a few times. Works like a slide hammer and does not damage threads.
