The purpose of the hub ring is to fit small front bearing retainer transmissions, the front bearing retainer came in two sizes. The ring can be removed very easily.

Did big block have a larger retainer bearing than small block 833’s? I know O/D ones are different....thanks

67-69 Hemi 4 speed bell with a ring installed to use a 23 spline trans.
This ^^^^^^^
Dammit yall, it's not that difficult. Badass sought after bellhousing with a ring to use with either transmission. Simple, really. Fantastic deal, too.

Agree.
The average guy just sees a iron bellhousing that weighs a lot and moves on. I Actually need a big block bellhousing, but not this month. I spent all my spare money for parts this month already...

That’s not a hemi bell it’s a B or C body 1969 383/440 11” bell but a good deal none the less.
