I have a 67 barracuda i am restoring and have a nice straight 68 upper header panel i plan on using. I am not sure about filling in the 68/69 plymouth emblem holes, and then drilling for the 67 individual plymouth letters. I like the look of the 68/69 emblem set over the left side grille and headlight, but the 67 individual letters are more correct. I have all the 67 letters and they are in good shape, so thats not the issue. Should i go with the correct letters, or the 68/69 emblem. Which looks better in your opinion.

If it is a numbers matching car and you want it to be period correct then by all means do the 67 lettering, but I like the cleaner look of the 68-9 better. Both are kick-*** though
 
Not numbers correct or a high dollar form S or 383 car. Was a slant sux 3 on the tree tiny drum brake 7.25 bench seat car, becoming a 410 4 speed disc brake 8.75 bucket seat car. However i am trying to make it appear kinda stock.
 
I had a 67 383 car with the letters the same as the 68 type.

I never knew if the header had been changed or if it was always like that because the header panel paints matched the car spot on with no evidence of ever having been repainted...so ???????

I think it would have looked better with the 67 type lettering just because that is what I think it should have had.

I currently have a small block 67 and someone shaved the lettering so I am thinking of going back to the 67 type just because it is a 67.
 
I have 67 Too much badging IMO. I have 68 Plymouth on header no front fender scripts. Just my likes.

I like the 67. I like everything on a 67 better than a 68. But it is everyone opinion.

I have a 68 w/ neither on it, altho I do have the one piece letter set. I think u should do what floats ur boat, and to h--- w/ what other people think ! I like them both ways tho. Only real mopar people would know the diff. anyway !! And probly 85% wouldn`t either ! I didn`t and don`t really care …..JMO
