Depends upon the car and the build. I have 5 cars.. Some have stock Bell....Some have Blowsheild...
 
Stock early A iron bell & flywheel
Custom 10in ram hybrid disc & scalloped b&b p.p.
66 abody a833 with 65 main shaft & tail housing (to fit my b&t conversion drive shaft)
Rebuilt Hi-comp 273 isky e-4 solid cam with crane 1.6 rockers
Ld4b intake tuned 500 eddy
3.23 8.75 sure grip.

On "really" high performance stuff I always used Lakewood but for low or average street power that wont rev really high I use stock. Why go through all the expense?
 
I run close to stock street cars and never go to the track so no need to dump alot of money in a toy where stock works fine.
 
Thanks Chryslerfat, I should have turned around & went the other way cuz the suns angle you can't see anything. But at least it has ok audio!
 
Lakewood Scatter shield in the 69 Valiant. It's a (91 block) 408 @ 476hp / 513 ft pounds of torque, 4 speed (Center Force dual friction / American Power Train hydraulic set up), with 3.73 in the 8 3/4 S.G.
Stock bell in the 67 Barracuda /6, 3 speed, pegleg in its 8 3/4.
