Blow thru carb question

I'm in need of a new carb now and am looking to turbo my car in the future, but Im not ready to turbo it yet. So, this may be a stupid question, but can I use a blow thru carb on a n/a engine without it running to rich till I get a turbo on it, so that I dont have to buy 2 carb? I would just rebuild the one I have, but demon doesn't sell main body's for them without sending them in, and the boosters are melted from a back fire. Thanks for any info!
