Cool! Always good to see you getting some stuff done. I see you have nice weather there. We are pretty chilly right now, below zero and the winter wind is howling through the pine tree's!
I still get in the garage though, and insulated coveralls keep me fairly warm! Was actually in my garage today in fact.
Nice! I like your welder budies horseshoe shaped clamp. Im going to have to build a few like that,as I dont have any and I can see some uses where I will need a clamp with this shape.
Im sure you are going to be impressed with the handling even though you have not made many changes. You are making small changes that matter! The stock suspension is very capable, folk's race with the stock system all the time.
Do you have a rear sway bar? This will help round out the suspension package. The rear sway bar was 3/4 inch stock. There are many sellers who offer bigger diameter bars if you wish it,but the 3/4" will work well with a stock front sway bar.
I am using stock diameter sway bars, and lightening the car a bunch as well, which makes the suspension work better for handling.
Andre be carefull in your sway bar selection. You need a rear that is matched to work properly with the front. Mixing and matching sizes/brands will affect the handling ,but not in a good way.
So if you are planning on using a stock front sway bar,use a stock rear sway bar. If you upgrade one, upgrade the other,O.K? DONT mix and match.
Holy crap, your brave!! Swinging a hammer and chisel so close to open toe footwear is asking for an injury Andre. Sorry to nag on safety,it's ingrained to my soul after working at a smelter for 8 years, part of which I was an in plant shift safety rep.
Be carefull! You need those toes for the gas pedal!!!:burnout:
André, bom saber que posso acompanhá-lo aqui no FABO também!
André, nice to know that I can follow your work here on FABO as well!
