Bypass Hose Size

Are there different ID's (inner diameters) for the bypass hose on a 318? The one I got from the auto part store has an ID of 3/4 of an inch. The connectors are over an inch across, are there different sizes of bypass hose? Did I get the wrong hose or do I have to try and make it work? This is an aftermarket intake manifold and an aluminum water pump. Thanks

Yes. 69 and before it was a smaller hose (3/4"). 70 and later (aluminum water pump) was a 1" hose.
