Cam Bearings

I am running a solid lifter cam in my 340 Demon.I am going to put
a Comp Cams street roller in the car. I would like to know if the present
cam bearings are ok to use with the roller or do i need specific cam
bearings to use with the roller cam? The cam an XR286R. Thanks.

So long as you are careful removing the existing, and installing the new one, they should be fine. If the new cam cannot be turned by hand when it's installed, you need to clearance the bearings and make sure you can turn it. Too tight's bad.
