I'm guessing that it is sitting under a tree with a blue tarp rotting on top of it somewhere.

Here is the 72 Scamp that I was doing a resto on for Nikki until we traded it to Redscampi for the 48. I know it is in a good home and it has aanother 72 Scamp to keep it company.

OK Scamp owners. How do you know you have a Scamp other than the badges on the car? What fender tag code denotes that you have a Scamp and not just a Valiant?

Sorry to ask it here but it wasn't answered definatively in the other Scamp thread.

My two. The Plum Crazy one I traded a 48 Chevy with JR (360Scamp)for is getting this 318 and the Orange-Red one has a 360. The 360 car is a daily driver for now. Eventually this one will get painted back to the original Rally Red.

They were old appliance mags, thats all I knew about them. My old boss in the rod shop I worked in wanted them out of his way so he gave them to me.

...and they polished up pretty nice! They are growing on me, no one else runs slots any more. 8) Thanks for the compliment on the motor JR! I'm changing out the K-member before it goes in.

The way I understand it is, from 1971-74, the 4 doors were Valiants, 2 doors were Scamps and Fastbacks were Dusters. All were Valiants, just different body style. After that, I'm lost, lol. I just assumed that if it had 2 doors, it was a Scamp. :dontknow: If anyone can add, jump in.

here is the '72 my dad and I built for my sister. It's a /6 4sp car now.

Correct, there was never a 4 door Scamp, those were Valiants and the Scamp was just a Dart with a Duster front end.
