cardboard headliner change

I have a 68 dart with cardboard headliner and want to change to cloth headliner besides the rods that go side to side what else would I need to do the job?? joejoe

I recently solved my headliner conundrum by getting my cardboard headliner upholstered at a local shop. I was debating on switching to the earlier rod-style headliner but I'm very happy I took this route instead. It cost me $100.00 and that was material as well as labour. My cardboard was getting rough around the sun visor area but the shop did a good job of reinforcing it and covering it nicely.

You need the rods and roof clips. There is a guy here parting out a dart who has all you need and he can roll the headliner up with the bows so you know where they go.
