Carpet underlay

Do I need it even though I Peel & Sealed the whole car? I used it on my other car but not sure if I need to spend another $100 on a sound deadening underlay kit. Already up to about $200 so far! What about using the felt backed stuff on a roll and cut to fit? That would run me about $40.

Hey! Look at this: A Yoga mat. Even has foil backing! I bet this will work awesome and I can work on my Pilates while I am under the dash.
