Ok guys. I really don't know much about this stuff. I've been reading and trying to learn but thought I'd ask you guys for help.
Ok here's what's going on. My old 340 10:1 (with ootb eddy heads and lunati 60405 cam (242/252 @50 533/552lift) hAd no valve float. Could wind that's ***** out.
Then went to a 408 12:1 same heads. Same cam. Valve float Broke apart at 63-6500rpm.
Now I'm getting my heads ported. Switching to a super victor intake and gonna roller rocker the top.....but I'm wanting to take adVantage of 1.6 rockers.
With the greater lift from the new ratio, what's the best way of choosing new springs?
I found a comp spring comparable to what lunati recommends with 1.5 ratio, but with the 1.6 will that be Enough spring.
The new lift with 1.6 with go from 533/552 to 565/588 I believe
