Got a chance to speak with Nick from Nick’s Garage briefly. He was surrounded by people all day. He couldn’t have been nicer.
Three weeks ago I called Carlisle for spots! They only had a handful of car corral spots open they told me! No vender and no car show spots. I think the guys are buying the spots just to keep their trucks close by! Same **** in the spring show. Yeah they sold all the spots ! But I guess that's all that matters to them is the money for the spot! It's a shame to see all the opne vending spots!Whoever said that the vending spaces were sold out was lying. Rows K and L were 90 percent empty with trucks parked on both sides. There had to be a decrease in sellers this year. Also surprised that it was not announced that Nick's garage was there

They bought those spaces just as parking. I know, I had to do the same thing.Whoever said that the vending spaces were sold out was lying. This doesn't change where you can put your car.Question.
I was on the Carlisle site and signing up for next year, there's a drop down menu about "club affiliation", noticed FABO as one of the choices. I didnt notice last year, but
What difference would that make on placement in the showfield?
Would we all be in a group?
Joe
That’s it..I believe they combine both groups which gets the required amount up to qualify for the tent. Swingn’Never knew there was a club tent. Lol
But I did see a FBBO tent.
FCBO and FEBO are supposed to use the combined tent also. I think they all register to the same fbbo tent. That’s it..I believe they combine both groups which gets the required amount up to qualify for the tent. Swingn’
Right - the club affiliation has no effect on what group you chose to show your car in.This doesn't change where you can put your car.
It does add members to the club registration which in the long run gets a bigger tent for the club.

I'm not sure there is a FABO tent. If a club has less than 25 registrants then you must pay for the tent if you want one. I paid for the FBBO tent the first few years until we got more than 25 members. Now Carlisle pays for it.Yes, The FBBO tent was a combined FxBO effort spearheaded by member @HSorman.
Check out the thread. "Chryslers at Carlisle 2022 tent activities and invitation"
I stopped by Fri and Sat, Great bunch of Guys,
Won 4th place on club attendance
Which might/should lead to a larger tent next year
Many thanks to the guys that made this happen.
Until next year
May I humbly suggest you change it and make it FBBO instead?I think if someone takes charge and spreads the word, it has to get bigger. Unless they're comfortable with their current group of course.
Most FABO guys I spoke to had no knowledge of any club tents.
(Alot of FABO guys are also FBBO members).
I already registered for next year and put FABO as a club affiliate.

The black blown Hemi belongs to FBBO member HEMI-ITIS hailing from Long Island. It is a legit 9 second street legal car.Just got back from the Mopar Rebellion pre-party at the Expo Center - WHAT A HOOT!!! Tons of great cars of all stripes, what a great way to start the weekend. Some of my favorites were the 63 Plymouth B-body that drove in with a BDS blown second generation hemi and a Dana out back. The license plate frame in back said "Back in 9 seconds, gone hunting Rats". Next in line was a right hand drive Australian 63 Valiant with a truck bed out back (guess my 84 Rampage was a Johnny come lately).
