Cigarette lighter location?

I have a "no history" 1970 Dart Swinger with a Rally Dash. I am replacing the Dash Bezel so I ordered a new repro 1970 dash and came without the hole for the in dash Cigarette Lighter. I had one in my original. I am wondering if the cigarette lighter was added to my original dash because when I search for new Bezels, everyone shows the 1970 having NO in dash lighter with a Rally Dash. The cigarette lighter "in dash" is shown until 1969 with Rally Dash?? Please let me know what should be correct for my 1970? I know for sure that my Dash is a 1970 because the radio mounting has the offset mounting bolts as it should comparing to 1969 radio mounting which has the bolts in line of either side.

I have a '68 cuda. All cuda's had a rally dash with cig lighter in it whether or not they had a console. Dodge Darts were a little different. When a Dart had a console, they put the cig lighter in the console. If you have a Dart w/o a console but a rally dash then your cig lighter is mounted in the dash. That hole is not cut out in the repop bezels to give you the option. I recommend loosely mounting the bezel to the frame and marking from the rear the cutout for the lighter.

Your 70 dart may not orig had a rally dash? Didnt only 340 darts have a rally dash? Guessing here...

The correct way is to install the cluster and mark the hole using the metal frame from the back. The hole will be in the frame and they must line up.

I got a new Rallye Dash bezel for my 1970 Swinger 340 in 2016 and I remember the back of the bezel was marked where the cigarette lighter goes so you could drill a hole for it. If the one you have isn't marked you'll have to mount it like Murray said and mark it yourself.
