Cigarette Lighter Question

Is the cigarette lighter in the dash mount ashtray the same as the one for the console? How do you wire it in?

Yes. Both the same. There should be a pig tail in the dash harness near the
ash trat area. I think it is a 90' degree end(elbow). Yellow wire if I recall.

Could I just wire it into the one for the dash ashtray by making a splitter for it?
