[SOLD] clips for hood hinges

looking for the four clips that hold the hood hinges on for a 67 up a body. let me know what you have. must be in good shape. thanks henry B. :glasses7:

You should be able to find those at most hardware or automotive parts stores.
They're just a 1/2" star retainer.

I got mine from a resto supplier. The hardware store ones were not nearly strong enough.

Threaded mine and put nuts on them

These retainers are called push nuts. I got mine at Fastenall. They are available at Ace Hardware and almost all hardware stores.

This is what I did. I wouldn't trust those push clips. They have been known to fail, having the hinge come off the pin, doing damage in the process.

Been there. sucks trying to get the hood closed when they pop off. And when it happens at a car show it is even worse.
