Hey. I have a 73 Duster with the 225. I just did a motor swap and didnt take a pic or write down which wires go where on the coil. I just wanna make sure i hook it all back up right. All the wires on the back of the alternator i left hooked up so its just the coil. I have 4 wires back there unaccounted for including the condensor. It has the original wires im pretty sure so a color coded diagram or a good pic where i can see them should do just fine. Imma keep searching but anyone with a link to either of those would be great. Thanks.

You need to find yourself a 73 service manual. Here's a screenshot out of the 73. FOUR? Should be THREE unless you have a tach?

coil +, radio cap also goes on coil + and only one on coil NEG

So looks like BRown should be coil + and BlacK / Yellow stripe is coil NEG.

This is easy to figure out, here's what you do. Unscrew the ECU connector, so the ECU does not have power. Take your test lamp and with the key "in run" see which of the coil wires has power. This will be the wire which goes to coil POSITIVE.

Look at the diagram. The wire going to coil NEG only goes one place.........it goes back to the indicated pin on the ECU connector. You can check that with your ohmeter. Easy

The radio cap / condenser ALWAYS goes to coil POS. If there's a wire left over, and you have a tach, it goes to coil NEG. If you have no tach, I have no idea what it might be for. What kind of connector is on this fourth wire? Post a photo. What color is it? If it's a factory wire, it should be "in the book."

There are simplified, not always complete wiring diagarms at "MyMopar"

That helps. Ill get that pic. Cant remember the color of the wire. Think its blue. Has a boot ob the end of it to fit onto a post.

A/C clutch would be dark blu I think rectangular black connector

A/C blower dark green bullet connector

oil pressure dark green flat connector

temp sender a 90 degree violet

brake warning sw. a black 90 degree

choke a black rectangular flat connector

windshield pump brown rectangular flat

Might have something to do with idle stop solenoid on carb?

If you have stick, clutch switch is dark green

(This is why you need a shop manual LOL)

Possible it's an option you don't have, too.......

Hey. I got it. That last one went over to the temp sensor. Loka a light purple color. Shes purring now. Cept for some cold start idle issues with the carb/choke.

A purple wire w/ booted 90 degree female is temp sender.
I cant remember a blue wire with such a terminal.
Extra blue wire with a female spade terminal like what is used at alt field would have been electric choke assist.
