How much negotiating room is there on new/used compact tractors, eg Kubota bx series or b series, from a dealer?

There's some, but doesn't seem to be a whole lot - maybe $400-500 or so. I used a competing dealer's price to get my local dealer down. There used to also be a cheaper price if you paid cash.

When I bought my Kubota, I bought it in Kansas since they offered me a $3000 cheaper price on the identical tractor than any dealer in Oklahoma. Used ones here were selling higher than what I paid for my new one. The dealer there was much larger than the ones here so they must get some volume discounts or something.
