well i just purchased this complete 340 to put into a project but thought i would ask here if anyone is looking for this numbers matching engine. he said it was a 69 block. heres the stamping on the vin rail

The 1st digit is a zero....means a 70 block. Casting date on pass side?

Type the VIN out so it is searchable. Much better chance to reunite the block with the car.
Yep, go back and edit the title to include vin. Googling machine will pick it up better. Oh ask for copy of title/ownership/proof. Someone here may try to say its "theirs" when it's not.
