What I have here is a 67-72 V8 K-frame with lower control arms, sway bar, drag link, and V8 torsion bars. Also included is a complete disk brake setup off a 74 360 Duster. It includes the upper control arms, spindles, brackets, rotors, calipers, pads, and wheel bearings. The brakes are in great shape. The calipers and rotors are good. I would just repack the wheel bearings, turn the rotors, and throw a set of pads on it and you'll be good to go for years to come. Also included is a later model brake proportioning valve that works perfectly with this setup.
Wait, that's not all. I'm also including the 8 1/4 rear axle from the Duster (less drums) It's in great shape, and its a 3.21 ratio. The spider gears have been welded, which I believe old school guys call a Lincoln locker. I don't have a lot of experience with them, but I believe the net effect is a mini-spool feel. Maybe an old school guy can chime in and educate us on this issue. The gears are clean and look really good.
This is the perfect setup for someone that wants to upgrade their 67-72 car to a V8, with big bolt pattern, and more heavy duty axle. The wear parts in the front end should be checked. I know it needs at least 1 tie rod end and the drivers side sway bar bracket (easily available through Summit).
The price is $550, and I believe I'm firm on that. I live about 30 mins north of Baltimore in Pa, about 1 mile off interstate 83. This is an easy drive from Connecticut to North Carolina, west to Tennessee and Ohio.
Feel free to ask any questions....and thanks for taking a look.
