coronet hubcaps on abodys

Whats the deal with these hubcaps? i always thought they would look good on an abody but the discription says 10" instead of the 9" like on the others for darts or whatever. are they really a different size and wont fit our steel wheels? Is anybody running these on 14 or 15" steelies?

need a pre-1968 steel wheel for those to fit on.
 
I've got a guy local to me that re-hoops steel wheels using a brake lathe.

I'm going to give him four 1967 14x5 large cap steelies and four 15x7 5th Ave steelies to make into 15x7 large cap steelies.

.....eventually.
 
i have a friend who cut the ring from a small cap and used it to mount the bigger caps. i am not positive as to how he connected the 2 caps.
 
Take one of the old plain jane 9 inch caps and glue it inside a 10 inch cap , just make sure you get it straight. I have seen this done with good results.
