Cost for cluster parts $400, cost for hoping it all works . Priceless

So I am so jealous of anyone who buys the entire dash for $50 in the classified section. Because this thing just set me back $140 for the new Board, $38 for new voltage regulator, $170 for rebuilt speedometer.
After I get engine reinstalled, I am flicking on this puppy and hoping to see lights and gauges bouncing to life. Oh and then drive a little a finally see the speedometer moving.

Paid $20 for 3 wrecked clusters at a car show, $25 for white overlays from whitegauges.net, $20 in paint/tape - painted and rebuilt myself..
