Cragar S/S to fit under '65 Dart

I was wondering what Cragar SBP wheels/tires would fit nicely under a '65 Dart.

I was thinking 215/60/14's on the front with a Cragar SS 14x6.

And on the rear I was thinking 245/60/15's on Cragar SS 15x7.
Alternative if the 15's are too big might be 245/60/14 on Cragar SS 14x7.

The car currently has 205-75 14's on 14x6.5 Steelies. Speedo is about 5 fast, which was why I was thinkign the 15 Inch 60's on the rear would even that back out.

Thoughts ???

what did you find? I am haviing same issue with my 65 I need tires and rims but search is not turning up much

I have 14x6 sbp Cragar S/S wheels on my convertible w/235/60/14 BFG. See picture. They are ok. On my other Dart I had 14x7 wheels which was way to big. I did some cutting on the wheels house opening but didn't matter. Still to big.

I'm going back to SBP Cragar S/S 13x6 with 7.25x13 bias ply tires!!

I see from your pic that you have no rear panels i have 2 sets if you are in need? Do you know the back spacing or can you get it for me. Thanks

I don't need the panels. Thanks anyway. This photo was taklen 2 years ago when I changed the interior for a new one. Sure I can get you the info. I just sold my wheels to use the orginal Cragar wheels 13x6. They look a little odd with the cast aluminium center instead of chrome but that's how it came from the factory. Right now I'm in theprocess of rechroming the rim and polishing the center so I hope it turn out good!

I tried 225-60-14 on 14 x 7 on my 66 Dart and it was just a little too wide to fit. If you found some rims with a deep back spacing, you would be fine. 3 1/2" backspacing is not enough. 14 x 6 does work with the 225-60-14.
