Crazy filler tube

Hi everybody:

I just installed a new filler tube ..went to put the gas cap on and there is no tightening down on the cap. Like no progression from loose to tighter. Anyone else buy one with these special qualities...Plus the vent tube was on backwards

Oh forget it problem solved I know what to do..There is progression just not enough like the old filler tube. I'll just go into town and swipe a gasget out of another gas cap, that should make things tight..Why can't they just make them the same though and not give idiots ulcers
