does it have the same bolt pattern as an 833 where it bolts to the bellhousing? I read a post on this sight that it won't fit in an A body. From what i have read there are at least 3 diff. 5 speeds, A535 , nv3500 and nv4500. has someone tried all 3. i have T5 in my 67 camaro and the feel of an internal rail shifter versus the external rod shifter is night and day, not to mention having the extra gear. does anyone have any info on gear ratios in the A535 trans.

thanks,
adam

The A535 transmission is to big around for car applications.Your best bet is the NV 3500 with the shifter relocated to the rear of the tail stock.

I had an NV3500 in my 318 5 speed Dakota...If you are making over 350 horse, don't waste your time trying to put one in. You will trash them on a regular basis...In fact, if I would have kept it, I would have switched it over to a 904 or a 727.
