Dana 60 help?

If your rear is the one pictured, that fill plug looks to high. You may want to look at a stock cover to find out the correct level in relation to the tube centerline. If it has sealed axle seals, it only needs oil up to the bottom of the I.D. of the axle tube.

2 quarts for a standard cover and almost three for the Ultimate 60 cover.
I still think I'd run 2 in it (just above the bottom inside of the axle tube.)

2 quarts would put you about right here, and would be plenty.
A lot of people run 1 quart on the strip for less drag.

awesome man thanks. This is strictly a Drag car that we purchased. It has moser internals. Spool and axles. would that have any bearing on how much fluid? Thanks.
