Hello,
I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I have googled this but have had limited success. I would like to decode the 273 in my 69 Dodge Dart.
The engine stamp that I have is PM2731226070518. What I have learned from Mr google is that the PM is the model year code, the 273 is self explanatory which should then be followed by the date and possibly the build sequence. I have been unable to confirm what year the PM code is for and the numbers for the date make no sense. Can anyone point me in the direction of a website that would break this down for me?
