Demon: 71-72 Grille Swap

Hi, I'm really new to cars in general but I've fallen in love with 71 demons. I wanna buy a project car to build with my dad. I'm considering buying a 72 if the grille from a 71 will easily swap into it. I can't find any answers please help.

What about the creases on the hood and trunk of the 72. 71 did not have those.

71 72 hoods are the same rear deck lid either will fit 71 is flat 72 has a raised center line

The turn signal sockets are different 71 to 72. 71 won't fit the 72 grill. This leads to a small issue in wiring as the 71 and 72 headlight harnesses have different plugs for the turn signals. You'll have to do a little splicing to make that all work.
