doors for qtr patch panels

i picked up a set of 72 duster doors for free think im gonna cut the bottom sections out and use them for patch panels for my 69's lower rear qtr's. anyone do this ?

Any donor metal will work where curves and lines aren't an issue. When a aftermarket sun roof was cut into a brand new car at the dealership, some of those drops were saved for other uses.

Are the doors in good shape? If so, maybe offer them up for sale in the classified section for what it would cost to buy new metal so that someone else can benefit also.

ya dont think there worth usin The tops are cracked and someone cut the inside panels out of them for access to the regulators im assuming.
